혼돈 속에서 중심을 묻다

아하콜렉티브(b.2018)는 김샛별, 박주애, 정혜리, 최지원 작가가 모여 결성한 디지털 미디어 기반 아티스트 그룹으로 급속히 변화하는 환경 속 발생하는 다양한 관점과 맥락의 형태를 탐구한다. 스스로를 ‘맥락이동자(Context Shifter)’로 정의하며, 축적된 전통과 기술을 고정된 답으로 받아들이지 않고 새로운 시공간적 맥락 위에 다시 배치한다. 이러한 재배치의 순간은 구성과 균형, 여백이라는 전통 조형 원리와 융합되어 아하콜렉티브만의 상징체계이자 새로운 시각언어로 탄생한다.

아하콜렉티브의 작품은 고정된 중심이 사라진 액체 근대의 시공간, 인간과 사물이 맺는 관계의 역학을 탐구한다. 귀와 눈의 형상에서 영감을 받은 운동체는 듣는 것과 보는 것의 감각을 교차시키며, 서로 다른 장면들을 하나의 궤도로 이끈다.
